Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! Plus, we scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum result every time.
By using a combination of postures derived from Kung Fu, Taoist Yin and Yoga, RomWOD stretches and heals the body by creating gentle traction on the fascial tissues. These movements assist the body’s desire to fall into proper alignment which can prevent joint injuries over time. Use this practice on its own or as a complement to your CrossFit workouts.
